ABOUT

about

kelsey is an editor, director and multidisciplinary artist with an insatiable appetite for making stuff that’s never been made before.

as an editor, she cuts projects that break through the noise and resonate with audiences. she loves translating creative vision and unearthing the most magic in footage so directors, clients, and brands are proud to publish.

as a director, she has a special place in her heart for video art and artist films. this includes working with museums to document installations, collaborating directly with artists generating multimedia work, and sharing artists stories.

as a visual artist, her work reflects registers of time. she collaborates with process-based material to activate personal mythologies, documenting, celebrating, and surrendering to the human experience. her creative practice engages memory, transformation, natural interconnectedness, and the ordinary made marvelous.

kelsey is a recipient of the Media Arts Fellowship and the Gay Burke Photography Fellowship from Alabama State Council on the Arts. she has over a decade of commercial and editorial visual storytelling experience. kelsey’s projects have screened at festivals nationally, including PBS Film Festival, AFI Docs, and DOC NYC. her visual art is held in private collections internationally.

she is currently directing her debut feature film, SHOW ME THE LINE.
